Scratched Fenders

Alright this may sound like kind of a weird question, but last weekend my sister rolled my '04 400EX down an embankment, landing in the edge of a lake. The quad luckily still runs and everything still looks straight. Unfortunately, both the front and rear fenders are scratched to hell which makes the quad look old and beat up, and I have only had it for a month! My question is should I replace the fenders altogether, try that Plastic Renew stuff (which I have heard mixed things about), or just leave them stratched?

Unless you race tham and have sponsors.. I'd leave them scratched.

If there are any large gouges.. use an exacto knife to take off the burrs.

Then use 50/50 Mop&Glow/Water on a washrag or large car wash sponge. (after you've washed it of and let it dry out). Or some folks even use tirefoam to make it shine again.

$400 on a set of plastics that's just gonna scratch again is a waste IMHO..
