have u had ur frame break right in front of the top motor mounts

minr broke because the factory had not enogh spacer on top so it pulled too much on the frame and it broke

R u sure u put the spacers in on the correct side??


I have never heard of anything like that. I have had mine crack by my stearing stem bushing, and On my left footpeg where i smoked a tree with it last year at Crawfordsville In.

mine cracked there,you are talking about rite under the tank correct,mine broke there and like pappy said,about 6 other places :eek2:

My top motor mounts under the tank snapped off as well. In addition, my frame started showing some signs of cracking near the footpeg mount on the left. All that has been repaired however. Even though its fixed, I planned on buying a new frame for cheap and getting it all done up and PC'd, but thats on hold right now til after I recover from this full engine rebuild $$.

Pappy and his guys do some awsome work,i tore mine completely dow and sent my frame and sub-frame to him and got it gusseted and pc'cd......i would definately recommend him....just my 2 cents

Mine had a hairline crack around the right footpeg.... The rest of my frame is fully gusseted... I can take some pics if requested.

mine cracked on both motor mounts....had that fixed and also had it gussetted.

mine cracked right here on both sides lol not fun and i didnt even know it until it was maybe 3 weeks later :eek2: i was so lucky the swinger didnt fall off the entire frame could flex about 3 inches:eek2:

Mine had to be welded on both sides of the frame at the foot pegs....:macho
