i heard from a reliable source that the 650 ex is going to happen this year along with a 3 cylinder banshee, and the return of the warrior in the shape of a new middle of the middle of the road 550 cc quad.
Also the yfz450 is ditching the battery and going to straight kick wehreas the 450r is switching to either fuel injection or hydrogen fuel cell fusion technology.
I hear sport atv's will also come with hiper wheels and the pipe of your choice as standard equipment
I think thats all i have heard so far.

yea, the 06' 450R will have a motor where you can switch from 2 to 4 stroke with a push of a button. Oh yea, and you can turn the powerband off and on too at will. i cant wait :blah:

That hydrogen fuel cell is a good idea, my dad has a TON of stock invested in the Egas company ware they are making hydrogen fuel this weekend they are testing it at an airport by my house they claim it will give you 60 mpg and is 50 cents cheaper than regular gas. I hope it goes through maybe i can get a few new 450R's just for spairs:macho

Honda is experimenting with Nuclear 450's (you will have to wear lead riding pants)...........that's what I hear anyway.

i hear hondas going to start offering V-8s in the 450r but they will have 450 hp so they can still call it a 450r

ABOUT TIME!!! Someone is finally listening to the riders.

Heard that your now gonna be able to swap different manufacturer's powerbands for different hit. Blue band = yamaha, Yellow band= Suzuki..... etc. Can't wait to see if the Crf450R band will retro fit to the 450R. :blah:

On the 2006 TRX450R from American Honda, it will be equipped with an "Easy" button.

I heard chevy is going to be getting into the sport quad market with some sort of light weight frame powered by a small block 350 and a T-H 400 auto tranny with a kick start

as far as the 06s go, i think they are going to put a chevy 350 with a twin turbo in the old 250r frames, so it will have like 1100 hp!

I love Honda's designs but they really aren't the first to jump on with too many innovative designs until they have to keep up with the competition, or so it seems.... Chances are the 450R willo remain unchanged, look at how many years it took to get reverse on a 400EX. :p

also i think its going to start looking like a trophy truck and have 7 feet of suspension travel and a teleport button i think i heard thats what th flux capacitor is for so you can just teleport anywhere
i also heard it going to have a cloaking device so you can become invisble from cops but i still think there going to make it kickstart

i think i heard honda say there where having trouble adapting a kickstart to a flux capacitor
