whats the best spark plugs to buy for a 400? ive been running ngk i think, and its fouled so i put my other used one in, is there ones that are better that give better performance or last longer, etc.?

If you're fouling plugs you might need to adjust your jetting....

Well, it would depend on HOW he is fouling the plugs. I've fouled plenty of them trying to start the $#*^ thing!

But Joe gave pretty sound advice, you may have a jetting problem. That's the first thing to look at. As for your original question, look into an Iridium spark plug. Just be careful gapping them, you can't pry against the electrode like you can with the stock plug. You have to get a special tool (or a really small set of pliers) and bend the ground tab alone. If you pry against the electrode, it will break.

NGK or DENSO is the only way to go make sure you have the right plug for your bike you dont want to run a hotter one.

this is the first plug ive fouled since ive had it and im pretty sure its the stock plug so it kinda makes since i guess. ive had this jetting since decemeber and have had no problems so maybe this plug was just worn out?:confused:
