Fcr Carb

I just got an fcr carb for my quad. Does anyone have an idea on what jetting to run!

I Have no clue but make sure you tell us what you think once you get the carb put on. By the way were did you get your carb from??

I'm ruining a 48 Pilot & a 165 Main with my Mods listed below.
I would say you should be around the 170-180 range on the main, and more then likely you will need a 48 Pilot also. You will need to set your TPS on it to, there are a couple threads on that @.ORG.

where did you guys get your carbs and how much were they if you dont mind me asking? Cheapest I have found is $699

Go to servicehonda.com. I believe the one you want is off the 2003 model CRF450R. IT's the cheapest of the three listed..

Thats what they recommended for a 40mm fcr carb or the stocker? I was under the impression that nmotion was using a bored 41mm fcr as a upgrade......

That is off the crf450. I didn't want to mess around mine is set up and ready to go from curtis sparks. I seen his invoice so I know what he paid!

the jetting thats in the sparks might be pretty close for you.
i had the sparks 41mm fcr and all i did was drop to a 160 main since i have the pulsecharger and it ran great.
I have also hear (but don't know why) that as the fcr gets closer to spot on jetting that it will have a whistle sound to it. It was very noticeable on mione. almost sounded like a tiny lil quad turbo lol
