cdale carrier on 400ex

Will a cannondale bearing carrier fit a 400ex? Ive heard of it going the other way with a little modification. Any ideas are apreciated! :)

Try asking at www.cannondaleriders.com . We're always looking for other parts that fit out machines. I know a honda axle fits our machines but not sure about the carrier.
