my 300ex is leaking oil at the cover where the filter is what is the problem ?

i no it probly a gasket but at the botom of the cover it looks like a little places like a thing that can be removed or something and it is leaking from there what is that thing yall no what i talking about ?

Id just change the oil and filter and see whats up. I dont think theres much you can do without at least taking the cover off.

Around the inside of the oil filter cover is an O-ring. Mine did the same, and i went to the Honda dealer and got a new one, and solved the leak.
