I've crossed over the solenoid with a screwdriver and then it starts to turn over so I've found that my starter is still good. now I need to find out if it's my solenoid that's bad or my pushbutton. what I was going to do was go through the wires comming from the pushbutton and see if theres continuity after I push the button. of course there won't be any if the button isn't pressed. then if there is than I know it's my solenoid. only problem with this is I don't know which 2 wires that come out of the pushbutton assy. to check if there continuity between. does anyone know?

its your solenoid.

u can either buy another one, or get a toggle switch of some sort and hook 1 wire to one of the coil bolts, then the other to the other coil bolt and when u flip the toggle u start it, then flip it back once its started.. just an easy fix if you dont have the cash to buy a solenoid

but how am I sure? I don't wanna spend like 50 bucks on the solenoid then have it be my button that's gone bad
