I have a 2004 400ex with a K&N air filter DG slip on Rev box no air box lid and i am running 110 octane fuel. I had recently changed the pilot jet to a 45 in feb/mar to get the bike from running lean. Now when i rev the bike to fullthrottle and then let off a little puff of white smoke comes out. I thought it might be rings but the oil level stays consistant. I have the dyno tech thing and it has the needle with the clip on the 3rd spot and a 170 main jet in. I have messing around with the main jet but it doesnt get rid of the smoke. The bike runs great and seems to not have any problems. I am thinking it is a rich jetting problem and if you guys agree what main jet/pilot jet/needle clip position should i be running. I live in ohio and am below 300 ft. Thanks pat
