I am building a 250r that has a CT Racing 350 powervalve cylinder on it.I am wondering if I will need a larger than stock radiator to keep it cool or will the stock one be ok?

i would run the stock one at first to try and see if you'll need one.usually the aftermarket cylinders have bigger water jackets etc for improved cooling.try some water wetter and one of those inline billet coolant coolers.anything to keep from buying a bigger radiator $$:)

Thanks for the reply.I don't want to drop $400 for a radiator if I am not going to need it however,I don't want to run it hot and ruin the top end either.I see what you mean about the extra cooling capacity on the CT cylinder,so hopefully it will be enough to keep it cool.

Thanks again

personally i would try it out, and if you notice any difference (negative) then get the new radiator. if you went throught the trouble of having ct racing do their magic the least you can do it protect it. just my .02
