need more power

I already have a Big Gun Race exhaust with headers, UNI filter, 14 tooth front sprocket and jet kit but want more power of my 400 ex. I also dont want to go too hard in the motor because it's a 2005....

you should have got the 4 fiddy.:D well without taking the motor apart,a cam will be your only "drop in" component.a high compression piston is also a must.how far do you want to go?you wont get 40hp with easy mods:( try a rev box as well

I think I would go for a higher comp piston with a cam...
I ive heard that a REV box or cdi dont do well on a stock motor
does the cam alone give a lot of power ??

a cam won't do much for a stock compresion piston. best thing to do is do a high comp piston and a cam with open air box with your uni air filter. after all that it should be a lot better
