View Full Version : Reducing Throttle pull
After jumping on a friends yfz that he did the carb spring mod, I've come to the conclusion that my throttle pull needs to be softer. I've heard about using a trx90 lever, but is there a different spring that I could swap out? I've ordered a new cable and going to switch it out for a starting spot.

try a twist throttle, once you get used to it you'll never go back to a thumb.
The spring is out of the housing. I've tried a twist and I don't like them.

i took the spring out of my throttle housing and it made a big difference. my buddy did the same for his banshee and he too said that his thumb feels fine after a couple of hours of riding.
