I posted this on the suspension forum.

SInce I am new to this community I didn't realize there is a specific forum for 250rs until just now.

Ok, here is the question:

What is the difference (better or worse) between the stock type rear suspension set ups vs. the No-link and the CR500 set-ups.

Are there any benefits in using one vs. the other?

I don't know about the cr500 linkage, but the no link set up gives you more travel, and is better in whoops.

I think the cr-500 link seems to work the best. I have had all 3 setups. The cr-500 & no-link will have more travel than the stock linkage. It may seem this way to me because the difference in the shocks.

I Have a brand new PEP Dual Rate Long travel shock, never even bolted it on yet and I got the cr500 linkage(250.00) couldn't get it to work then i found out i have to have a no-link swing arm and CR500 accepting chassis, But everyone I know that has one says they blow the compition out of the water.

P.S.
I have this shock still it is brand new and for sale If anyone is intrested. Email me @
