Does anyone have any other mods I should make when I put my Stage II Hotcam in?

higher compression piston, larger carb, flow job, full exhaust

So, do you think I should go with the 10.5:1 JE Piston? I am thinking about getting it bored to a 416 in the winter, will I need to get another new piston when I get that done?

yes go with JE, and a 416 bore will require a new larger piston to compensate for the larger bore

i have a 406 with high comp piston port and polish and a stage 2 hotcam, the bottom end seems kinda of week for these mods. would a stage 1 fix this problem

do you have a stage 2 or stage 3? i would think with the stage 2 you will be fine. i can see some people not wanting a stage 3 (the old stage 2).

it is the old stage 2 so the new stage 3

How can you tell if it is the Stage II or Stage III?

cause the new stage II is not available yet so nobody has it


and considering a stage II is a mid to top cam................... Yes a stage I will help since it is a low to mid cam

they do have a new stage II and there already advertising it................. but they haven't finished it, so it's still not on the market for purchase, this is as of monday last time my buddy talked to hot cams
