I just put some burgard +2's on my 416 and I'm getting TCS's today. I need to know what the tow in and the camber should be. I was thinking around 1/8"th tow in total but I wasn't too sure about the camber. I know the camber should be negative but I wasn't sure about how much it should tilt in. I have never set up a fourwheeler with the +2's so I need to know. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I put this in 400ex info but thought I might get moor responses here.

1/8 toe sounds good. for the camber, that varies depending on xc or mx. for xc, run 1/4 inch per wheel

1/8 inch toe in is good. Run a negative 2 degrees camber. For motocross I would suggest negative 3 degrees.

My bad it will be for mx. Sorry about that.

Oh and how do measure the degrees for the camber.

Most tool or hardware stores carry degree indicators. A cheap one should only cost about seven dollars. With that tool you will place it against the side of the wheel. Make sure to use something that will reach from one edge of the rim to the opposite edge.

I found out tonight that my neighbor has one of the measuring tools and I'm going to ask him if we can use it to set my camber. So I got it figured out. Oh and some one else told me that I should run 4-5 degrees neg. I guess it depends on riders weight though. What would you recomend for a 125lbs mx rider?

Does the 125# include ALL riding gear?

I hear the best way to measure is with the rider on the quad with ALL riding gear on.

Probably about 128-130lbs.

Lonestar recomends 4.5 degrees of negative camber for motocross. Thats where mine sits and works well.

Negative 4 degrees and the measuring thing is called a protractor

Is it just a really big protractor?? I haven't seen my neighbor since I posted last so I still haven't seen what it looks like.

Negative 4 degrees is going to be about 4 more turns out on your lower ball joint than the top one. You probably wont be able to get exact the threads give you what you get in so many turns so go with like 3 or 4 turns out on the lower ball joint
