I know the question has been asked before, but it seems that no one ever comes to a conclusive answer. I am looking into a new exhaust for my '04 400EX. What is the best overall exhaust considering the sound and more importantly, what makes the most power?!?

HMF will win this poll cuz 80% of the riders on here use one. They are good pipes though.

HMF may not be the top performing pipe, but what is a .5HP difference when you can get an HMF for $50 cheaper than most other brands?

I'd go with the HMF, but i may be a little partial. You might check out the new Big Gun EVO series pipes as well.

About the WB R4, does that only come in a full system? What advantage is there to doing a full system over just a slip-on? Is the extra cost worth the added benefits?

Also, what are your opinions on the Big Gun Evo?

They make a slip on and a full system. You can get the full system on ebay for around 400 thats the promeg. The slip on is the s-bend. I dont know where you can get it or the cost.
