C-12 vs. Pro purple

I was just curious who has alot of knowledge on the two feuls. We have been running c-12 for quite some time now but wondered what the pro/cons of running Pro purple would be?? I only have heard that it can be hard on Vavles running it straight?? Not sure if thats true or not, Id like to find more info on this fuel...

how much does a 5 gallon can of c-12, pro-purple, and that mark-5 stuff cost? I run 94 pump gas with octane booster, and i still get a knock. If i found 110 pump gas, could i just use that? I'm puttin it in a 250R. I was thinkin bout gettin klotz 113 octane. Anyone have any thoughts about klotz racing fuel? and what is the cost like to ship race fuel?

C-12 is around 40 bucks for 5 gallons. And it's 108 motor octane. Very good all aorund race fuel for 2 and 4 stroke's.

Cam 2 all the way!!! I run straight cam 2 most of the time, but sometimes run the C-12 as well depending on which place I happen to be closer to. I havent heard much about the pro purple or who makes it, but would like to. I think thats what Natalie was running/changing to when Suzuki protested him...

And to Dober.... Youre still getting a knock because octane booster doesnt do anything and is a waste of money. Have you tried making your pre-mix with straight race fuel?

MAybe VP makes the purple...??? A guy talked about the TT111 and says its a good fuel also and half the cost! I would like to check into that as well the way prices are going up:eek2:

no, i have not tried straight up race fuel yet. That's what i'm going to try after my current gas runs out. I have 5 gallons left of the junk, and i'm just gonna run it. Anyone have any thoughts about klotz racing fuel?

as the c-12 being 40 bucks for 5 gallons, i'm sure that doesn't include shipping charges. I wanna know how much it costs with shipping, or unless someone knows where i can get some racin fuel in michigan somewhere.

I just got 5 gallons at my Polaris dealer and it cost me $34.75, and thats VP C-12

We but C-12 by the Barrel, much cheaper !! I think we pd 300.00-325.00 last time be bought one but thye barrel is out and its time to try something new.

Luckily I have a local Phillips 66 that has the 110 octane purple leaded fuel for about 4 bucks a gallon. I don't know who makes the fuel but I do know it's good stuff!
