how many of you run dr d's jetting recomendations of a

172 main
stock pilot
stock needle on 6th clip
airbox lid off

should i try that setup with

cam mod
lid on
fmf header

why does everyone automatically go up on the pilot and to the nvcq needle when they cant get them to run properly like that?

45 pilot
4th nvcq needle
2 1/4 turns fuel screw

K&N air filter no lid

this is what works the best for me. it runs great no flat spots or hesitation.

what should i have the jetting on if i have the airbox lid on dr.d exhaust ?
ihave a 162 main
42pilot
and 2.75 mixture screw
does that sound right? it also throws a little flame when coming down from the rev range

how will i know the bike is running properly ? what should i look for in the rev range is a flame now and then normal?

plug ideally should be all tan no white or anything , black too rich white too lean, better to be rich, 4 strokes run a lil bit better rich anyway i think , better for your motor too
