50mph stock
52mph modded if you keep the 22" rears
52 if you jet it properly
Maybe if you rolled it out an airplane it would hit 60! lol

There's no way to make the 250ex go much faster than it does stock. You might get it to accelerate better but the top end will never change since witht eh shaft drive you can't change the gear ratio. Mine with everything and 20" Razors only does 48.6 byut it get's there pretty quick.

Buy the biggest and lightest tires you can fit on the back of it. Build the motor to the max. Find a long down hill slope and watch speed carfully. :ermm:

Not real sure why you would want to do this though.

If you are competively racing and you are in lower age classes then you might wanna think about a 250x or 300ex they have alot to work with

i dont see why you wouldnt be able to get new rear end gears? do they not make them?

if you cant get gears...
get a full echaust (header and all) air filter (take off your air box lid) taller rear tires, and an aftermarket CDI that deletes your rev limiter (if they make it for your bike.)

then you should be easily at 60 mph.

its a good little chunk of money, but the performance you gain might be worth it...

good luck. have fun :)
