well i run 16/36 right now but i dunt like how i come outa the gates so i stuck a 15t in the front....just wonderin all ur guys preferences.

I run 15/38 with 18" Klaws. I've tried the 14 and it's to low with 18's. I want to try 15/39 I think it would be ideal for most of the tracks I ride.

When going from a stock 15 to a 14, do I need to worry about changing anything with the chain? Logic tells me that the change is too small to warrant changing out a link in the chain, that I will probably only have to adjust the chain when I'm done.

Which brings me to my next question, when checking the play on the chain, I noticed that I can change the slack simply by rolling the bike an inch or two. Is there some neutral point that the bike needs to be at in order to get an accurate measurement of the chain freeplay?
