Im sellin my quad nd i need 2 know how to get my engine lookin reel new...u know all shiny and clean.

You could take it and polish your engine. i think, i dont know much about what u can and can not polish

Sure you can and that will clean it up way better than just engine degreaser/ and or soap and water.
It will look clean, but not new of course.

Your side cases are aluminum of course. You can either invest the time or the money (well, i guess its the same cost either way:p , since it takes awhile)
to strip off the paint on it and then polish it up real good. It will look killer when you can see your ugly mug in your engine;)

it will never look as a brand new.

you can wash engine with degreaser or acid used to clean aluminum after welding.
replace bolt of engine also will give some.

if it is not enough, try to replace the side cases.
