400ex pipe and header on a 300ex?

my friend has a aftermarket pipe and header that i can get realy cheap but will it fit my 300ex the pipe is made for a 400ex and what else will fit my 300ex from a 400ex thank you

im sure the silencer could be modified to fit but the headpipe is a dual port,wont work.the 400ex a arms will work on your 300ex.the swingarm could work not sure,i have a 250r swingarm with linkage setup on mine.carb could work if you rejet it,possibly a few other misc nuts and bolts.ahh the starter solenoid will work too..:D
