black clips

im trying to get these lil black clips off of my 05 400ex but they wont come off how do u get them of?
there the ones that hold the gas tankk cover and frunt plastics on....

take a screw driver and pull/pry up the center post peice, then the clip will slide right out

i use sidecutters to grab the center peice near the grooves and just pull it up
