I got a TC off ebay, I'm very happy so far compared to the WB's that don't like to start.

in the warm months it will be fine. if it was 50 or below, we had problems many of times. i think with a brand new battery or a battery tender, you may be fine. i have a feeling mine still wouldn't start with that but who knows
i wouldn't get it myself, but it is up to you.

I got it for $50 and it works fine. Doesnt start hard at all and its like 40-50 degrees. Will this change though (the starting)?

No!!! but people told me that it woulnt start and that its garbage. It helps me keep up with the lt250r better and the 450s better, so I figured it was an improvement.
