can the stock 450 shocks be built into triple rates that are almost as good as lets say elka?

C&D racing does a great job on the conversions for an awesome price. they are a site sponsor, so scroll down to there forum section.

JH Racing, C&D Racing, Derisi, and TCS all do the stock shock conversion in which you get all 3 shocks rebuilt. The fronts are built into ZPS Triple Rates and the rear is built into a dual rate ZPS setup if I'm correct.

These set-ups work really well for the $$$ spent. A few of the local guys here have the JH Racing conversion on their 450s and they love them, great setup!

i do like 70 % racing and riding like racing. would a revalve and spring change be ok for that?

The linkage is just what you can purchase from GT Thunder and Derisi, and its the same linkage. I'm hoping JH will get his rear shock setup to work with the linkage because I have the GT Thunder setup w/ the linkage but would really like to reap the benefits of a ZPS dual-rate rear shock.

yeah, it would work great. i ride about the same if not more mx than i ride trails or whatever. but the C&D rebuild works great on mine no complaints at all.
