motor problems need help

the motor has lost power, started smoking and it has a weird burning smell coming from it

i have been using the oil the dealship recommend
i change the oil and filter ever 14 hours ,i dont over rev it.


the only thing that i did do was a crash 2 days ago. whould that cause any damage?

Check around where the headgasket is located see if there is any oil or junk around there then start it up and see if any smoke or any air comes from there. Its sounds like it could be a gasket but i'm not positive. Just run it for and have somebody take a close look at it.

not to sound like an azzhole....but your quad soudns like its neglected...it breaks everyride

there are many people who ride my atv and idont know what they do to it

but i have it stripped down to frame and engine and i dont see anyleaks coming from the head




could weelies have anything to do with this

I don't think it is the wheelies, you sound like a friend of mine who let's anyone ride his stuff, before long you will have nothing but total junk because no one cares about others stuff when they are riding it. That said, have you checked the oil, is it burning any or is there any gas in it. Sounds like maybe you blew a head gasket or burnt the rings maybe. If you keep riding it liek that you can cause serious damage.

i have it ripped down to the engine i got a look at the cylinder and it looks bad and i noticed a small oil leak on the head right above the spark plug.



i think it was caused by dirt in the carb the carb had alot of dust and dirt in it



about how much would it cost to complety rebuild the motor

A decent rebuild should cost you arond 800 to 900.
