400 450??

Does anyone know if a CRF450 motor will fit in the 400ex frame? Without mods?
With mods?
Any help would be appreciated...thanks!

It will fit but it doesn't just bolt on you have to have someone put on some motor mounts and make sure the sprockets line up

Thanks man! Thats more then enough help I wanted does anyone know if someone can do this? I talked to Tom at atv4play and they do I just wanna see if any other places do it...

yeah... its on here some where, i was just searching for it but i can't find it now, there was a part on the fourm that had about 3 different names of companys that do it, i remember one being ...i think it was "J B racing" and some company would make it happen if you give them your frame you get it back with a few gussets and 450 ready for $500.00 i can't find it any where, but if i come across it , i'll post it.
