Rock is my favorite, but I do listen to some rap like Jurassic 5 and Asop Rock, the second quote in my sig is from an asop song. And then Rage Against The Machine is the best of both worlds. Awsome guitar and drum work, and then theres Zack's crazy lyrics.

A friend and I drove to 3 hours to St. Louis, without tickets, to see the Taste of Chaos tour. We got there and bought tickets from 2 scalpers and got inside just as the show was starting. The tour had: My Chemical Romance, The Used, Killswitch Engage, Senses Fail, Underoath, Opiate for the Masses, and some other up-and-coming bands. It was great.

I'm not sure what happened to me, but I've been listening to more and more punk and emo lately. One of my new favorite bands is From Autum to Ashes. I've been picking up on The Used, Funeral For a Friend, The Killers, The Mars Volta, etc. I used to hate punk music with a passion, but it's growing on me. But I love music so much that I really can't rule anything out...except country music!

But don't get me wrong, I still listen to all my metal!:D Has anyone heard the new Mudvayne album?...it kicks @ss!!!!!

I'm a fan of The Killers and The Mars Volta too. One band that I've been listening to a lot lately is Emanuel from Louisville, KY. Really talented band. Also, at The Taste of Chaos Tour, Opiate for the Masses did the best acoustic set I've ever seen. I don't think it can be topped, since it rocked harder than a most electric sets I've seen.:D Been listening to them a lot too.

BTW, the new Mudvayne IS awesome.

Incubus put on the best acoustic show that I've seen. I love acoustic music. My buddy, ledofthezep, is pretty damn good on his acoustic. He writes all his own stuff, pretty cool stuff too.

I just love music, I could talk all day about the bands I like.

Where can I find the band Emanuel? I'm game to hear their music.

I saw Incubus about 3 years ago, and they put on an amazing show. One of the best concerts I've been to.

If you have Ares, you can find some Emanuel songs on there. The CD is called "Soundtrack to a Headrush."
Also, you may like Anberlin. "Paperthin Hymn" and "Never Take Friendship Personal" are two really good songs by them.

Dude, I was going to ask you about Anberlin, haha I am in the process of burning 3 of their songs now; Glass to the Arson, Ready Fuels, & A Day Late.

Have you ever heard of Fono?

I've seen Incubus twice, both very good shows. I never really was much of an Incubus fan until I saw them 3 years ago. After that, I was hooked. Especially after their acoustic set. They came out for an encore and played 4 acoustic Zep songs...I think I "went" a little in my pants, haha! jp!

im sorry but i love how you say heavy metal and then i see atreyu, breaking benjamin, tool, led zeppelin. atreyu's old cd, kinda metal, but the new stuff is just plain hardcore....anyway for me

The Black Dahlia Murder(most insane band live and craziest guitarists ever)
stormlord
children of bodom
cradle of filth
dark tranquility
cryptopsy(great live band)
dimmu borgir
goatwhore
kreator
sonata arctica
on some days stuff like unearth, heaven shall burn, remembering never.

basically any decent black metal/thrash metal/heavy metal/some metalcore

I gave them a try a while back, and I was really impressed with the vocals.

I haven't heard of Fono. Are they worth checking out? I was an Incubus fan since their SCIENCE cd, but became an even bigger fan after seeing them in concert. The Morning View cd helped me through some tough times in life.
