I Just got an HMF slip-on, k & n air filter, and k & n lid for my ex. WHat jetting should I run. I takes me an hour to get to where I can ride and test it, so I'm trying to cut down on some trial and error. Thanks for the help.

I'm guessing this is on a 400? Try a 42 pilot, 152 or 155 main.

Where are you located?

I'm in florida, it's on a 400ex.

I would try a 152 main to start with. Changing the jets in the carb is not hard, but only an inconvience. I would recommend taking your tools, additional jets, and plugs with you when you go ride. That way you could do a plug check and change the jets if needed.

Good luck.

Id start with a 42 pilot and a 155 main. with the lid off at 1000 ft and a k&N I run a 160 main and a 45 pilot. also move the clip down i notch on the needle. put in the 42 pilot and move the needle clip along with the 155 at home. the pilot and clip should be right. you can go up to a 158 in 5 min if you need it at your riding area.
