my side cases are polished....they used to look good.....not so much anymore, and im sick of repolishing them every wash. SO....what would happen if i sandblasted or beadblasted them?

They wouldn't be as shinny. If you want the shine to last just get them chromed.

I think they will come out as a brushed aluminum look, like a stock motor looks..

if you beadblast them, they will come out looking a chalky grey color. this will last until the first washing. then the aluminum will start to oxidize and you will be left with crappy looking blasted sidecovers:(

get them chromed, or spend the time repolishing them.
