does anybody know if tcs shocks are any good for racing mx?

Yes. They are good shocks, not the best, but for the price, a very good value.

Its all in how much you want to spend. You can buy a set of front dual rate works for 350, or spend up around 2000 on a really nice set of custom axis shocks.
