water pump problems

ok fella;s got my new side case and everything else but i;m leaking water outta this pin hole under neither the water pump cover. well i was just goin to get out JB weld and go to town but i looked at my old cover and seen the same hole and my 86 had the same one too. What is with that. i kinda think that maybe the seals were shot and this is the warning for it anyone know if this is true

YES, that is a warning telling you to change the seals b4 MAJOR problems occur. DO NOT jb weld the pin hole up. buy a manual b4 you change the seal, its a real SOB.
