I would buy almost anything if I had the money but depending on the price I think I would.

not worth it get a small turbo off of a kohler engine i think it is and make the reast your self that what my buddy is doing he will be running 3.5lbs of boost on his Z400 it fits right inbetween his exhaust and his radiator nice and hidden and everything else looks stock:eek2: should be a sweet sleeper:macho

For $4500 you could get your motor redone by a pro and get just as much or more horspower. Actually it would prob save you a few grand to send the motor off. And then you wouldn't have the dreaded turbo lag. It is a kewl idea if it was cheaper, and you were strictly a duner or riding somewhere that you just hold it WO.

waste of money.why spend that kind of loot for a 30hp gain on a raptor when i could just buy a wrecked 600 crotch rocket for$2000 and have 110hp?so it'll be good for a straight line...just like a turbo:D

Ya, it's a waste of money but I'll bet it would sound cool:cool:

One word "FUEL INJECTION"

Does the Kohler project have a CPS,O2, and programable ECM?
Just having the FI for 99% of the quads out there would be a night and day difference. no more jetting fellas, ever! You can run gas, methonal, and nitro meth without any hassel.

Needless to say, I will let you guys know how it changes my fcr 41 FDO 493.

my buddy thought this too when he upped for a brand new Cannondale a few years back.well for about 7 grand he got about 5 dnfs, not fun when you drive 12 hrs to a race and the bike breaks.ran great when it ran:( just keep the carb around for me

sounds awesome^^

but somehow i dont believe it. that would be insane...

if that happens, they BETTER make it for the 300...

id gladly drop 500 bills for a turbo kit.

sounds like a very realistic price actually. but you know how greedy people get when they have something everybody wants...

that is so true, remember when HMF came out a few years back?they used to advertise in the magazines a slip on for like $179,not now they are up there just like rest of the manufacturers..:(
i cant see a turbo for only a few hundred bucks,ahhh....no

any of you seen the electric intake turbos? the suck the air so the engine dont have to,, dunno if yo u could get it to work on a carburated engine but if you could it would be kinda neat

im guessing if you put it between the carb and airfilter, on a controllable switch or a WOT switch it would work for a little something...maybe i can pick one up cheap and try it out,, they are basically just a high powered electrical fan taht spins real fast

hmmmm lol, there isn't much hp gain on the 400ex for 4500 dollars. now the raptor thats crazy, hell stock it pulls the front tires off the ground i couldn't amagine what it would do with 85hps.
