My buddy just trashed his rear end this weekend. Gonna need a new cam/carrier. Melted the old one. Im just wondering what kind of experience you guys have had with aftermarket ones.

I guess we have 3 options:
-used
-new brand name
-new offbrand

Hes kinda limited on cash, so this one on ebay looks good. Im just wondering if its any good at all.

The name sounds familiar but not sure where:ermm: The price sounds good. Check C&D Racing for a price on the Burgard carrier.

IMO an aftermarket carrier is only as good as the bearings as long as the body is turned to the correct specs which isn't difficult for a competent machine shop.

You should be able to find a used one for much less. If you go this route you i'd recommend replacing the bearings unless the seller can confirm they are good. Hard to do over the internet;)
