I need some quick help. I've tried everything. I have the carrier out of the wheeler and in a pipe vise. I've tried heating the carrier. tried letting it sit in pb blaster. I've got a slide hammer and believe me I used it pretty good. got a screwdriver and tried punching them out. I'm all outta ideas. I can't get the bearings out, please help me

heat them up in the oven and let them cook for awhile, and if that doesnt work then maybe cutting time!

try a dremel with cut-off wheels..(itll take more than one..)

or..

weld a bead on the inside of the bearing and drive it out with a wide punch of sorts.. (small pipe works well..)

Find someone with a press, makes changing bearings a breeze.

I heated mine up and they slide right out.

Then to put in the new ones in I heated up the carrier and froze the bearings and they slide right into place.

Try the oven idea. I couldn't get mine out either, and then I put them in the oven at like 400 degrees for a while and then take an oven mitt and tap the carrier on the cement or something and they'll fall right out.:)

I finally got em out. just another 1/2 hour or so of cussin and they came out. I had the new ones in the feezer from the night before so they went in easily. I cleaned and greased the carrier where they go in so maybe next time they'll come out easier. thanks for all the replies though
