they have a spacer that goes in between that big space i no that if that is why you said that,i think i just have to bend them to get them to fit, evyerthing else fits, and it said 400ex nerfs on the box and instructions

hmm mine lined up perfectly....so idk why it isnt lining up....and yes your oil tank might get in the way:o

edit: on the part where the peg slides on...make sure you have it slide all the way to the front of the quad....otherwise this will happen...just remember this happened to me after i tore it down for paint then assembled again

get your problem fixed bro?...i forgot about the stretching deal...i think what happens is when the nerfs are fabed up tehy are fabbed up on the quad...then welded on teh quad...and when the welds cool thats when they shrink a lil bit....idk tho but thats just me..

ac stands for adjust & cut, i had the same problem with mine. just took some elbow grease is all.

but one of the sides kind of flexes maybe 1/4-3/8". the black part is totally secure but the nerf isnt when i step on it for about 1/4-3/8"...... tell me if yours are like that too.

idk what your talking about moving....explain it to me better...sorry...

alright. you know how the nerf bar slips over the black part that bolts to where the stock footpegs are? well, the black part is completely stationary-it moves when and only when the frame moves. thats good, but the nerf part has some play. it moves about 3/8". i was thinking about puting another bolt in there right next to it but i dont want to have to take it all apart (pain in the *** to put back togehter) to measure and see how far out i can put a new bolt in.....wondering if anyone else had the same problem.

yea mine do the same thing...not a big deal tho....just drill another hole put another bolt thru it....mine dont do it that bad what happens is the hole wallows out the more you stand on them and ride on them....its thin alu. tubbing..
