scratches on plastics

NE1 kno how 2 cover up scratches on plastics? My friend said to use a crayon but idk

what you can do is buy a kit to called plastic renew, it should make you plastics look like brand spankin new as long as you do it right.

Yep, your best bet is the Plastic Renew. Just take your time on the sanding and it will come out looking new...or very close to it.

I cleaned up my warrior plastic when I cut the fenders. I used 3 grades of sand paper. Using the lowest grade first and on the deep scratches. Then I used rubbing compound followed by a novice meduim scratch remover. Here is the result:

there isnt anything you can just spray on and it will work, you got to put a little elbow grease in if you want the results.

If you ask me its a waste of Time. I used Plastic Renew on mine but the first time I went riding it got all sratched up again ,so I dont even bother anymore. It's a pain in the *** to use and not worth the time or effort unless your not going to ride you Quad

I personally use 50/50 Water + Mop & Glow and a washrag. It works great.. covers up the scuffs and makes it shiny.

It's a polymer that fills in the scuffs and small scratches.. it's doing exactly what it's designed to do. Except on your plastics not a floor. ;)

If you're unsure use it on a small hidden area under your seat or something first to make sure it doesn't do anything odd with your plastic composition.

I use it on my 330ex's Fullbore plastics.

Best part it only takes 10min. ;)

And, I agree plastic renew is a pain in the arse.. lol.

hey chigger, i noticed you have the same bumper as me, they look pretty good polished i just got done polishing mine up with some compound and looks a lot better:D

It was a good bumper to me, saved me from a tree, a stump, and serveral types of wild game. :D I ruined the bumper on the stump but saved the frame and bought a new one exactly like it again. It was almost as reliable as the warrior itself. :)

Use a propane torch that what I did on my plastics in the beginning. But now they re so tatered that I dont give a chit. LOL
