What is the best place to get a stroker crank with a reasonable price? I want to try to get all the power possible because I am racing with the new 450's. So I was looking to get like atleast a 450 give or take. I'll give you an idea of how much I make. I'm in school and I only get a chance to make money on the weekends. So I kinda have I tight budget. But I don't want something that is going to be a piece of crap.

Tell me what you know!

GT Thunder, TC Racing + Powroll all do great work strokin the EX crank... As far as being on a tight budget, thats not a good thing for wanting to do a stroker.... It will definitely take some loot to do it right. You gotta get the crank work done, get a special rod, and a special piston specifically made for strokers...

A 426 with a stroker crank is equivalent to 450cc displacement....

just built a powroll 416 stroker. i like it alot you never run out of power pulls like hell all the way thru the powerband. its awesome i like it alot!! kept up with a pretty nice 450r the other day with quite a few extras on it!!:macho

So it's not just the crank that I would need? You have to get a piston specifically for the crank? Because I already have the 416 11:1.

Powroll's one stroker is a stock rod with stroker piston or they have a tough rod sroker. That is a short rod so you can use any 400ex piston. I went with the tough rod stroker it was more money but the stock honda rod is barely strong enough. So I don't know what your budget is.

with the powroll tuff rod you may have to do some modifying to the piston skirt if you use a regular 400ex piston. i bought mine directly from powroll its a je 11:1 comp. they machine the area where the valves go a little deeper and also cut the skirt down a little....

Well when I bought the bike I got a reciept from Pro Fab ATV from the guy that I bought it from and here is what it says (its kind of hard to read because it is written on the Repair Order form):

416 kit 11.0:1
web cam
hardened rocker set
oversized intake valve
5.5mm viton valve sl. (couldn't really read this but I think this is what it says.)
Heavy duty timing chain
Heavy duty clutch spring

So I'm not sure of what I can do, as far as the stroker goes but I do have the 416 piston. So tell me what you think I should do.

Oh and I will have about $400 to spend, but I can work more.
