Is there a way to adjust the rear brake? Like make the foot brake more responsive other than pushing down alot?

Get a steel braided brake line.

Try bleeding the brake. USE DOT4 brake fluid. If that doesn't work, try adjusting petal height on linkage.

Check to make sure your brake lines are not pinched, and routed without any twist in line. If that is not a problem then bleed the lines. The TRX 450R rear brakes are a little spongy, you definitely get spoiled having such responsive front brakes, and expect the same from the rears.

Good Luck,
Tim

Loosen the nut on the plunger rod just below the rear brake master cylinder. Then unhook the brake lever from the master cylinder. Now turn the U shaped clamp that was attaching the master cylinder to the brake pedal. Turn it so it comes further down on the rod. This will make it so the rear locks up easier. I have mine set so I have to barely lean on it and I am locked up.

Braided line on the back helped a mother load! She squats down and stops now.

Also adjust the pedal height so that you don't have to reach down really far with the front of your boot to get the brake on.

I have mine adjusted 1.5-2" higher than the top of the foot peg, helped a lot!

I'll add a forth comment on the rear ss brake line. Most of the time, I come skidding to a stop with the rear already locked, it's much more responsive.

I like how the brakes lock up too but honestly, better braking isn't locking the wheels up.:p

Of course, I rarely do it, but most of the time it's because of morons coming the opposite direction on a one way trail! It is ultra-responsive now, and wouldn't go back to stock if my life depended on it :blah:
