Need Help fast

Just bought a used Yamaha Blaster 2001. I just got it home and am looking it over planning to go riding in a couple of hours. This is the first Blaster I have had in 10 years. My question is on the filler hole on the right side of the motor. What goes in here?? Oil or Gear lube??? I am not sure but it appears to be low and I don't want to run the risk of tearing it up. Please help me out. What type of fluid and how much do I fill it with??? Thanks

you could run some 10w40 motor oil or one of those off the shelf "gear saver" type lubes.i have actually ran automatic tranny fluid in my 2 stroke tranny in the past but thats a different topic..:)
