I'd like to setup my raptor for GNCC, and I'm curious as to what kind of mods are you guys running. Especially tire and wheel sizes, etc.

I think the standard rules would apply.

22" front and 20" rear or 23" front and 22" rear. If you have the money some beadlocks would be great. +1 arms and probably +1 1/4" swingarm. Aftermarket shocks setup for XC. The rule of thumb width is 46". You should definitely get a steering stabilizer too. Some thick skids are essential.

Full exhaust w/ quietcore, k&n or uni airfilter and properly jetted. I would drop the front to a 12 tooth and that should unleash all the bottom end you'll need.

Besides some handguards, mabye nerfs and other minor stuff you should be set. Larger gas tank would probably help too.

Anyone got anymore info?

Yeah it's such a pleasure to riding trails w/ a 12 tooth. With the stock size, I had to down shift to 1st through a lot of the tight stuff.

I know what you mean.. Saturday we went out to a local ATV park around here called Happy Hollow. Most of it is hillclimbing through the trails, with the stock gear I couldn't find a happy medium. 2nd was to high and first was to low. I can't wait to go back out there with the 12T.
