i was working on my 450r the other day and i left it standing on its rear grab bar. i left it like that for about 20 hours. i think its flooded. i unscrewed the little nut at the bottom to let the gas drain out. i pulled the spark plug and we filed it and it all looks good. yea everything looks good, but it wont kick over. ive kicked the thing 300 times. i read the owners manual about the flooding part. please if you could help me in any way you can. thanks a lot

what i would do is hold the throttle all the way down and start kicking but be careful

pump it like 3-4 times and kick it and if it fires and shuts off the float stuck happened to me a few times

Take the plug out and kick it over to get the excess fuel out of the cylinder. Put a new plug in it. It should fire right up. Unscrewing the nut on the bottom of the carb is just draining the bowl of the carb. If it still doesn't start pull it with another quad and pop start it. Good luck

Dont hold the throttle down.. thats going to mess it up. When mine doesnt start i pump the throttle before i kick it. Iv Flooded mine before alot to just by sitting on the rear grab bar for a couple mins. Took about 50kicks to bring it to life..

my advise to you is keep kicking or try pumping the throttle before u kick it a couple times.

Goodluck

I put mine up on the grab bar all the time. I just shut off the gas before I flip it up and then let it sit for a few min after I drop her down. Usually starts just like normal after that.
