bought a ebc dirt racer kit awhile ago, it only lasted a year in my yz400f. the springs sacked out and the plates were smoked. on a lower hp motor, they might be ok, but on something with power or thats ridden hard, they're sketchy. go with stock or barnett. a buddy of mine who rides street bikes had a ebc front brake pad come apart under braking also.

my EBC dirt racer has been decent to me.. it has about 5-6 mx races on it, and it is still holding up fine.. i went thru 4 TUSK clutches w/ HD springs before this setup, and the tusk lasted 2 races max (about 4 practices as well) a piece and then they were toast.. this ebc seems to be doing the job but starts to slip some by the end of a race.. if i could do it over again i'd go barnett dirt digger
