I have gotten a few bone density tests because I broke my femur. The docs wanted to make sure I had no problems. As it is I have extremely dense bones the doc said and they are amazed that my right femur snapped and only my patella had gouges in it :p from my accident. It is also good for body builders so they dont go past their bone limit and break bones.;)

I've had this test done . It makes sure you aren't at risk of ostioporosis (?) and other bone affecting deseases . They'll usually do the test after you broke a major bone in your body , or if you've been on medications for long periods of time , which may affect they frailty of your bones .
