I know I am when our season opens up on the end of the month. Just heard a gobbler this morning right out back of my house. He was only maybe 300 or 400 yds. back in there too. So maybe we'll meet up sometime and instead of getting lucky, he'll get shot!
I dont know why, but I have a tougher time hunting turkeys than I do deer. I just find deer much easier to hunt.
You southerners have been going since the start of the month or so, right? I cant wait. This time of year is great, Sat. i will be following the fish-stocker trucks around in hope of getting some easy trout:p
Then turkey opens up. Great time of year. Im pumped:macho
