Do you have to replace the whole subframe to replace a bent or broken grab bar on the EX? Do the aftermarket bars just bolt on over the stock? Thanks

what you can do is cut off the existing grab bar on the ex and buy a 250r grab bar buy some bolts and nuts and bolt it right up. :D hope this helps

I replaced my whole subframe. it was custom made for a removable grab bar.

IMO that was a crappy design on Honda's part. I will probably just buy a grab bar and bolt it on over the stock.

I have a PRM grab bar on my ex just bolts onto the frame. Great for Getting yourself out of a hole or lifting.

PRM no longer offers the grab bar that requires you to cut off the stock bar and use weld on tabs but I heard recently they still have them available if you call them;)
