Help!!!!!!!!

need some help here. My clutch basket has a lil play in it when i rotate it. the plates inside don't move, but the basket itself moves a little bit. I know I torqued it down, so it can't be loose. Anyone have this happen to them? and how worried should i be?

Thats completely normal my friend. Nothing to worry bout. Just make sure you keep an eye on your rear pivot bolt and keep it lubed (once a month) and thats it my friend.:D happy roosting :devil:

thanks chief!!!!!!!!! gotta love forums, my 250R wouldn't be where it is today without this site!!!! I'll be roostin up silver lake next month!!!!!!!!:devil: i just noticed this play when i put my new hinson cover on!!! been lookin for one of those for 3 years, finally found a sweet polished one!!

those are friggin bad man. I want one but I feel like performance before looks. LOL

Oh well Honda did put some play in the clutch basket area. A friend of mine (beerock) took it apart and replaced parts many times and later to find out its normal:o


To me a well maintained R (even if rode hard) is just as a reliable as a 450R or something of that sort. I Trust my 250R will start when i dont have it down to the frame....:p
