Mobil 1 Red Cap

Can anyone give me a DEFINITE for sure answer whether I can run Mobil 1 Red Cap in my boss?

You should be able to run any 4 stroke oil in the trail boss since it doesn't have a wet clutch. Just make sure it's the right viscosity rating(probably 10w-40 not sure though)

Also the mobile 1 red cap has changed. They discontinued the old stuff and now the red cap is automotive oil with friction modifiers.

So the new red cap can't be used right? This is my first time changing the oil is why I am asking. Ive always taken it to have it serviced

Actually the new red cap will be fine for you since you don't have a wet clutch. Sorry to confuse you.
