300ex valve cover ?

I have 2 bolts that are stripped out on the valve/head cover and it is leaking oil around 1 of them. What size heli coil will i need to repair these?

Take your bolt to an auto parts store and ask them the thread pitch.

all the bolt on head cover is M6x1.
6mm inside hole

to install heli-coil M6 you need to drill a 1/4" hole.

i uses the ones off the plastics that connect by the seat lol

if your careful you can tap it out to a 1/4 bolt with a stripped out 6mm threads. ive done it many of times without a problem. taps perfectly and the threads hold great

well we ran into a problem at practice the plastic bolt doesnt work we blew way to much oil so im guessing were retreading and trying that
