300ex brake change problem??!!??

went to replace my rear pads on my 99 300ex, my old ones were COMPLETELY gone, pressed in piston w/ c clamp, put new pads in caliper, and there is virtually no space for the disc to fit between them!! i'm pretty sure they're the right pads. any suggestions?????

idk why but when i get new break pads i have to gring one of them down in order to fit

so maybe try that

you dont have the piston pushed in all the way it might look like it but look at it again. Ive changed my pads on my 300 at least 10 times never had a problem

i got it!! actually, there is a floating bolt on the caliper that sets the distance. thanks anyway!!!
